TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ARTICLE 1 : CONTENT AND SCOPE

The present regulation set out the general registration conditions for the courses as well as the rights and obligations of the students studying at L’ECOLE MODERNE DE SECRETARIAT ET DE LANGUES.

 

ARTICLE 2 : ADMISSION

The admission is considered as definitive from the moment the enrolment is validated by the management  of Ecole Moderne and the payment made according to the chosen mode on the first side of the document.

 

ARTICLE 3 : PAYMENT

Payments are accepted : cash, by bank transfer or credit card.

 

ARTICLE 4 : CANCELLATION BY THE STUDENT BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE TRAINING COURSE.

For a cancellation by the student before the beginning of the courses, the registration fee remains due.

 

ARTICLE 5 : CANCELLATION DURING THE TRAINING COURSE

The student is not entitled to neither a full or a partial refund of the enrolment fee.

The management of Ecole Moderne will examine individually the situation in case of medical illness or unforeseen circumstances.

 

ARTICLE 6 : PRIVATE COURSES - CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations without charge must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

 

ARTICLE 7 : ATTESTATION AND DIPLOMAS

No attestation, certificate or diploma will be delivered if :

- the cost of the course has not been met in full

- attendance is less than 80% of the entire course.

Students who are enrolled are expected to participate assiduously, to attend punctually and to inform Ecole Moderne in case of absence or if they are unable to continue the course due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

ARTICLE 8 : THEFT AND DAMAGE

Ecole Moderne does not accept any responsibility for theft or damage to property that may arise on its premises.

 

ARTICLE 9 : REGULATION

Students must conform with the general rules as displayed in the classrooms.

Ecole Moderne reserves the right to expel a student in case of non-appliance of the above mentioned clauses.

 

ARTICLE 10 : PLACE OF JURISDICTION

All legal cases concerning Ecole Moderne and the students are subject to Swiss law.

The parties agree to settle out of court any difference of opinion concerning the application or interpretation of the present contract.

If the difference of opinion cannot be solved, the parties will submit the matter before the Court.

The place of jurisdiction is Geneva
